Blacklist Checker
Check an IP against Spamhaus ZEN, SpamCop, and Barracuda's real-time DNS blocklists.
What the blacklist checker queries
Enter an IPv4 address and our server asks three real-time DNS blocklists whether it is listed: Spamhaus ZEN, SpamCop and Barracuda. Each list answers through DNS, so the check takes a second and the result is live.
Each list is reported as listed, clean, or unknown. Unknown means the list didn't give a usable answer, for example because it refuses queries that arrive through shared or cloud DNS resolvers (Spamhaus does this). It doesn't mean the address is listed.
What a listing means for a proxy
These lists track addresses seen sending spam or infected traffic, and mail servers use them to reject email. A listing matters less for web browsing or scraping, but some sites feed the same data into their own risk scoring, so a listed exit can see more blocks or captchas. With rotating proxies, simply take the next address.
Questions
Can I check IPv6 addresses?
Not yet. These DNS blocklist lookups are built for IPv4 addresses.
An address shows as unknown. Is it blocked?
No. Unknown means that list didn't answer our query in a usable way. Check the list's own website for a definitive answer.
